Money=Votes

It saddens me to see that in today’s world of politics the candidates that the media “support” are not the person(s) who(m) are the most qualified, or has/have the best message, but the ones who have the most money. I remember seeing John Edwards speak at a rally in Erie, PA in October of 2004 when he was running with Kerry as the VP. Never before had I seen someone so passionate about what he believes in, even then. I wish the news channels would have covered more of his events/public speeches, because I remember walking away that day and thinking to myself, “How the hell did John Kerry win the nomination over him?” Now I know, money. His speech was truly inspiring and moving. If any of you have seen V for Vendetta, at the end with the fireworks and the voice over and the Overture of 1812 playing, remember how that made you feel? Like going out and starting a revolution? That’s how I felt after the first time I saw him speak. Another reason I like John Edwards over all other candidates: he’s the only one who is pissed off. But now that time is over because today he “suspended” his campaign. Hopefully he can use his delegates to his advantage. There are rumors on the internets of him being Obama’s Attorney General, which wouldn’t be all that bad.

Oh well..

Drunken Boxing

so i found out last night that if there is a game at a pool hall that involves you inserting one american dollar in exchange for it showing how hard you can punch a bag, it is not a great idea to attempt it left handed and drunk, because almost assuredly, you will miss the bag, and connect squarely with the buck hunter video game next to it, which in turn leads to bleading and broken fingers.
